How in the world do you work this thing? Two questions: 1. How do you add yourself as a blog member? We have a group blog and we're trying to add people to it. 2. How do you add links to your site, like for your friends and stuff?
Tonight I was honored with the presence of one Joy and her sister Sarah for a lovely sushi dinner. And lovely it was. Sushi, three different coffee drinks, and endless rambling about men and former suitemates. Ahhhhh, that is the life for me. I am pretty happy I actually have some cool friends at church. And to think it all started with Joy being her outgoing self at the Guatemala meeting. I really am thankful that God sent me some independent, Godly women to hang out with. Godly women who aren't afraid to say, hey, I don't have to be a housewife to be a good Christian woman. Ok, Ok. Enough with my meaningless ramblings.
well, thank God everything's alright with this one... at least so far.
Well... why does this crap always happen to me? Of course I get a defective computer. Of course it's me who lives 2 hours away from the store who has to drive back to get a new one that we can't know if it works until we get home. I get so tired of wasting my money on so many things that I take home and don't work. The piece of crap, virus infested computer that I'm on right now works 10 times better than the brand new one that won't even turn on. Man... I'm pissed.
I was awesomely surprised when my parents decided to let my FINALLY get the MacBook that I've been talking about since May. So, in true Turpin fashion, we went right away to get it. To Christiana Mall we went (for the no sales tax, of course). All I can say is, YAY! Photo Booth is filled with pictures of me and the fam. I am really happy. This is what I've been working my butt off for and will be sacrificing lots of meals for.
I'm sure no one enjoys their job all the time. But, I enjoy mine none of the time. Last night was a particuarly sucky night, too. Heat waves tend to draw people in to the air conditioning. You would think that finally being able to have that bit of relief from the 100 degree hell would make you somewhat happy, but... no. It was busy from 5 straight through to 11. That left 30 minutes before and one hour afterwards to gain and regain my sanity. Phew... it was a wreck, I was a wreck. Alright, that's all I'm going to complain about even though there is much more I could ramble about.
Well, I decided it was time for me to add one more site to my ridiculous list of memberships. In many ways I am very far from home. I am far from home when at school, far from my future home (Guatemala), and far from my eternal home. I am the kind of person who has lots of random thoughts which make for a perfect blog. Anyways, here's another way for me to be worried about putting my info out on the internet, yay!
